One of the world's largest DSV's in Den Helder

Subsea 7's diving support vessel Seven Atlantic arrived in Den Helder on the 14th of April 2010. The vessel, built in The Netherlands in 2009, is one of the largest and most capable diving support vessels in the world. The Seven Atlantic has an overall length of 144,79 mtr, a breadth of 27 mtr, a designed draught of 7 mtr, can accommodate 150 persons and is equipped with the most advanced diving and ROV spreads. Furthermore, the vessel has a class III DP system with 3 seperate engine rooms. The vessel is currently operating for Shell in the southern sector of the North Sea and visited Den Helder for a crew change, bunkering, taking in fresh water and provisions and the mobilisation of project equipment.
