First pipes for GSP's Wintershall project arrived
GSP (Grup Servicii Petroliere SA) appointed Seamar as logistics service provider for their Wintershall pipe lay project. The Grote Hout base in Velsen Noord will be used as the operational base. The first 137 pipes, from a total of 2541, arrived at the Grote Hout on the 7th of May. The pipes will be layed by the GSP Falcon (formerly named Acergy Falcon). A part of the pipes will be loaded directly on the GSP Falcon, the remaining pipes will be delivered to the GSP Falcon at the actual pipe-lay location by a PSV. |
